ALM: Bringing the Productivity back in

From back in the Borland days, the term ALM often brought shivers down developers spines thinking of the overhead that it could impose on a team. More than a decade later, many of today’s solutions still leave a lot to be desired and often solutions are aimed at locking you in as opposed to actually making you productive. But it doesn’t have to be like that. You can manage an application lifecycle in a very productive. In this session we’re going to see how to combine TeamCity and YouTrack along with your favorite version control, build tools and testing frameworks to provide a great developer experience when it comes to ALM.

Real World MVC

ASP.NET MVC is coming up to its 4rd incarnation and still we see developers applying bad practices when using the framework. In this session we’ll go over a series of Do’s and Don’ts when it comes to application development with ASP.NET MVC and see how to get the best out of the framework and leave the bad things behind, by applying a series of real-world experiences.
